LONGWOOD GARDENS, Route 1,

features 350 acres of outdoor gardens
and four acres of conservatories. Gardens

PHILADELPHIA DOLL MUSEUM, 2253

300 Black dolls from the early 19th century
throughout the 1900s are on display in
this unique museum. Museum hours are
Thurs. - Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday,
12 p.m. - 4 p.m. Special visits are
arranged by appointment only. $4 adults;
$3 seniors and children under 12.
PHILADELPHIA MUSEUM OF ART,
26th Street & the Benjamin Franklin Parkway,

225,000 works of art on display at America’s
third largest art museum. Paintings,
drawings, sculptures by world renowned
artists viewed daily. Open Tues.-Sun., 10
a.m. to 5 p.m.; open until 8:45 on Fri.
Admission, $14 for adults, $10 for seniors,
$9 for students, 13-18. Pay what you

RODIN MUSEUM, 22 and the Benjamin
Franklin Parkway, (215) 568-6026. -
opened to the public in 1929. The museum
houses 124 sculptures, including a
bronze cast of the artist's greatest
work: “The Thinker”, perhaps the most
famous sculpture in the world. Open
Tues.-Sun. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Closed Mondays
and holidays. A contribution of $3
per person is suggested for admission.
THE ROSENBACH MUSEUM &
LIBRARY, 2008-2010 DeLancey Place,
(215) 732-1600 - a research institution
and museum which seeks to inspire
curiosity, inquiry and creativity. Open
Tues.-Sun., 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Wed., 10
a.m.-8 p.m. Closed Mondays. Admission,
