This summer, the hottest place in
Philadelphia will be along the Delaware
River at Penn’s Landing. With a plethora
of festivals, concerts and family friendly
events, there is something for every one along
the waterfront – and it’ all free!
Every weekend, visitors can experience the
food, culture and music of an ethnic festival, like
the Hispanic Fiesta and Southeastern Cherokee
Celebration in July; the ACANA African Festival
and the Caribbean Festival in August; and the
Mexican Independence Festival in September.
In July, the cool strains of R&B will heat up the
night during the Bank of America Sounds of R&B
Series and the soothing rhythms of jazz will permeate
the air during the Smooth Jazz Summer
Nights series in August.
Food, music and culture – it’s all waiting for
you in the greatest city in America.
